SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2018 Complete Details :-

As given in SSC CGL 2018 Notification the candidates who matches the given below eligibility conditions are eligible to apply for SSC CGL Recruitment 2018.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2018 – Nationality/Citizenship Details :-

A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2018 – Educational Qualification Details :-

The candidates educational qualification should be as given below in post wise.

For Statistical Investigator Grade II Post : Candidates applied for the Grade II post must have degree in discipline with 60% in Maths 12th standard (10+2) or applicants should have degree in any discipline with statistics as one of the subject.

For Assistant Auditor Officer Post : Candidates who have completed their graduation are eligible for SSC CGL Exam 2018 but those candidates completed Master in Commerce or MBA ( Finance or Economics)  or CA ( Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Account or (CS) Company Secretary will be given priority.

For Compiler Post : Candidates must have studied Maths, Economics or Statistics as one of the compulsory subject in bachelors degree.

For Other Post : Candidates must have any degree in any discipline from well recognized board or University of India.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2018 – Age Limit & Relaxation Details :-

The candidates minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age should be 32 years.Age relaxation for reserved candidates will be as given below.

  • For SC/ST candidates : 5 years
  • For OBC candidates : 3 years
  • For PH (OH/HH) candidates : 10 years
  • For PH (OH/HH) + OBC candidates : 13 years
  • For PH (OH/HH) + SC/ST candidates : 15 years
  • For Ex-Servicemen (Unreserved / General) candidates : 03 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date.
  • For Ex-Servicemen (OBC) candidates : 06 years (3 years + 3 years) after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date.
  • For Ex-Servicemen (SC/ ST) candidates : 08 years (3 years + 5 years) after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date.
